Extruded fluorosilicone rubber is a kind of high polymer whose main chain is formed by silicon-oxygen bonds, and the chain contains trifluoroalkyl groups. Its polymerization method is similar to that of dimethyl silicone rubber. Produced by alkane ring-opening polymerization. The heat resistance and chemical resistance of fluorosilicone rubber are not as good as other fluororubbers, but because its main chain contains silicon-oxygen bonds, and the side groups contain fluorine atoms, it has the advantages of both, so it can be used at -60°C It is used in a very wide temperature range of -230°C, and has excellent fuel oil resistance and small swelling to methanol, but the disadvantage is that its physical and mechanical properties are worse than other fluororubbers.

Instructions:

 

1. Mixing: Remix several times on the open mill, add vulcanizing agent, and then adjust back to 0.5mm-1mm thin pass 8-10 times after the material is finished, and then leave the tablet and park it.

2 .Vulcanization: After re-milling the fluorosilicone compounded rubber with the vulcanizing agent, it is sliced or cut into the desired shape, and then vulcanized on the extrusion equipment to form

 

Extrusion Process:

 

The extrusion process is a molding method for manufacturing semi-finished products such as rubber hoses, rubber ropes, rubber strips, and wire and cable coatings. Extruded fluorosilicone rubber is soft and has good extrusion process performance, but the extruded semi-finished product is easy to deform and stick. After extrusion, it should be isolated with talc powder in time and vulcanized as soon as possible, and the parking time should not be too long. If it is found that the rubber material is too soft and the stiffness of the extruded semi-finished product is too poor before extrusion, 2~5 parts of fumed silica should be added in time. Before extrusion, the rubber compound should be fully re-milled on the open mill. The suitable operating temperature is room temperature, and cooling water must be passed through the fuselage and machine barrel. For the extrusion of composite products (such as wires and cables), a composite head or a "T" head should be configured on the extruder. Extruded rubber hoses and rubber strips can be designed and processed according to the product size, but the expansion rate of the rubber material should be taken into account when designing. The expansion rate of extruded fluorosilicone rubber is about 5%.

 

Applications And Features:

 

Fluorosilicone materials are mainly used to prepare heat-resistant, oil-resistant and acid-resistant rubber products. Such as seals, rubber hoses, rubber pads, tapes, tapes, films, fuel tanks and impregnated products, etc. can also be used as outer sheaths for wires and anti-corrosion linings for equipment, etc., widely used in aviation industry, petroleum industry, automobile industry, chemical industry and other fields. Fluorosilicone rubber has good high and low temperature resistance and chemical stability. It can be used for a long time under 230°C and short-term use under 250°C; the brittle point is -65°C; it has excellent medium resistance and is resistant to organic solvents and inorganic acids. 1. The stability of oxidant action is excellent, especially acid resistance; it has excellent weather resistance and ozone resistance. After being exposed to the atmosphere for several years, the physical and mechanical properties change little, and the effect on microorganisms is relatively stable.
